Two women have incurred the anger of a number of people after pictures of them sunbathing on graves at a cemetery in Victoria, Australia surfaced online.
The incident happened at the Glenmaggie Cemetery with the duo said to be having the sunbath on graves of a couple who dies thirty years ago, with their family staying in the area, Metro UK reports.
One angered local voiced his anger on Facebook. He said: “I am disgusted at seeing those girls sun baking on the graves of locals who have passed away. It is absolutely and utterly disrespectful to the dead.”
A member of the Glenmaggie Cemetery Trust, Peter Coleman, who has three generations buried at the cemetery said: “It’s not the done thing in my eyes, it’s ridiculous. Thankfully there was no damage, that was my big concern.’
Coleman also said he would like an apology from the sunbathers.
