Ex-Lions star Powell embarrassed after wife posts lewd texts... before putting his things and £10,000 engagement ring on eBay

The wife of Andy Powell has publicly shamed the former Lions star after he begged her to take him back following the pair’s split.
Powell, who switched codes to play for Wigan Warriors, broke up with Natasha Gascoine in February - nine months after their wedding - and has pleaded for reconciliation.
Gascoine has other ideas, however, and posted his appeals online.
Not happy: Ex-Lions man Andy Powell's wife Natasha Gascoine has posted his lewd text messages online
The 25-year-old took to Twitter to vent her frustration and is so angry at the break-up that a selection of Powell’s possessions have been uploaded for auction on eBay.
Powell, ex-Sale Sharks, played just five games for Warriors since reverting to Rugby League and had a troubled spell at the DW Stadium.
Even after a pub brawl in 2011 and being arrested for drink-driving a golf buggy near a motorway - for which he was handed a 15-month driving ban after admitting guilt - in 2010, he appears to have bigger problems with the likelihood of his marriage working out seemingly remote.
Gascoine has put a Wigan shirt, rugby boots, a wedding suit (£10), her wedding dress (£500) and an engagement ring (£10,000) up for sale.
Love notes from Powell have made it on to the list as well, going for 99p, and are described as ‘unwanted cards from my husband’.
Powell’s texts included claims that Gascoine was the only one who could ‘handle’ him and that 'no one compares' to her.
In one of the texts he tells her 'I'm in Montpellier just had a chance to bang a girl' before going on to say he'd prefer to be with his wife. She responds by calling him a 'scumbag' and 'mummy's boy'.
Powell married Gascoine on May 25, 2013, in Llantrisant, South Wales. For the big day, he auctioned off two places to his wedding with proceeds going to charity.
