Amaechi Advocates School Feeding for Full Enrolment in Schools - LEADERSHIP

The Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi yesterday identified school feeding programme such as that practised in Osun under the ‘O’ MEALS scheme as panacea to better education and full enrollment of children in schools in Nigeria.

Amaechi while delivering a lecture titled, “Higher Education and Good Governance in Nigeria: The way Forward”at the secondUNIOSUN Distinguished Guest Lecture Series at the Osun StateUniversity Auditorium, Main Campus in Osogbo, urged every governor in Nigeria to learn from Osun.

This was even as Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola pointed out that, despite the dwindling allocation coming from the Federal government, his administration still marches on providing development projects.
