One Campaign Africa D'banj Brings Top African Artists To Lagos For Theme Song Launch

Agriculture is uniting African singers in Nigeria This April!

Nigerian pop star D'banj has invited 19 top African stars to join him in Lagos Nigeria for the launch of the official theme song of the One Campaign project title Cocoa Na Chocolate. Among those already in town include: Dama do Bling (Mozambique),Vusi Nova (South Africa), Wax Dey (Cameroon), Diamond(Tanzania), and Nigerian stars – D'banj, Omawumi and DonTom.
The Year Of Agriculture was launched in collaboration with the U2's Bono's One Campaign Organization in  Lagos late January 2014 – a project which seeks to encourage and support Agriculture among young people in Africa. Now, it says, "Do Agric, It Pays"
Media head, Nde 'Wax' Ndifonka had earlier stated that the song will be "Africa's biggest music collaboration of all time". He also disclosed that the song is geared towards the celebrationof 'The Year of Agriculture' as a means of alleviating poverty in the continent.
There are 19 recording artists who participated in the song including Femi KutiD'banjWax DeyFally IpupaDama do BlingAngelique Kidjo,  MafikizoloOmawumi, Don TomVusi NovaDiamond and many more and the song is produced by famed music guru Cobhams Asuquo
Cocoa na Chocolate will be launched April 1, at Eko HotelLagos.
