Robbery Gang Arrested In Redemption Camp
Some men suspected to be armed robbers were on Thursday, December 18, 2014 arrested and paraded by the Ogun State Police Command across the state.
One of the suspects identified as Emmanuel Olowu, 26, was arrested in the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, for allegedly stealing from worshipers in the camp.
The state police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, disclosed that some items were recovered from the suspect including atoy gun, phones and money.
According to Metro,  other suspected robbers paraded along with Olowu aged between 17 and 34 were Sunday Akinlosotu, David John, Osilaru Osodare, Okeke Emmanuel, Dayo Akinola, Daramola Arogun, Ayomide Tobi, and Onayemi Femi.
He said, “The command wants to assure the general public of adequate security during and after the Yuletide season.
“We encourage everyone in the state to support the police in the area of information sharing and robust intelligence.
