Liverpool are seemingly planning for life after Brendan Rodgers after reportedly lining up Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp as his replacement at the club.
The sensational claim comes just hours after The Reds succumbed to a shock 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace, with the loss being Liverpool’s third consecutive defeat and their sixth overall so far this season.
With fans and pundits such as Jamie Carragher beginning to criticise Rodgers, The Express have claimed that the Liverpool board could hire Klopp to replace their current manager should they decide to let him go.
Klopp – whose Dortmund side currently lie in the Bundesliga relegation zone – has also been linked with a move to Arsenalfollowing recent comments he made about wanting to manage in the Premier League.
